Leebong Island is not just a destination. This 37-hectare island stands on its own in the Karimata Strait, surrounded by clear water and intact mangrove forest, and the only way to reach it is by a 20-minute boat ride from Pelabuhan Tanjung RU. There are no other hotel guests here. No vendor stalls lining the shoreline. Just the island, the sea, and a resort designed to help you genuinely slow down.
The accommodation options are extensive: 13 villas across three categories. Overwater villas stand directly above the sea with private terraces, from two-guest types like Ilyasa and Brenda up to Villa Etharon, the largest, for four guests. Garden villas built from quality timber sit scattered among the trees, from Villa Chicas for four guests to Villa Beatrice with four bedrooms for sixteen. And for something different altogether, there is Zarra Treehouse, the first treehouse on Leebong Island.
Every night's stay includes return boat transfers from Pelabuhan Tanjung RU, welcome drinks on arrival, one dinner and one breakfast, and full access to all island facilities. Water sports including kayaking, paddle boarding, and snorkelling are yours to use anytime. In the afternoon, join the Sand Island and mangrove forest tour. In the evenings, settle into the Island Bar or Pirates Coffee and enjoy the stillness of an island that remains largely untouched.

1A Day on the Island
- Check-in 14:00 · Check-out 12:00 · Meeting point: Pelabuhan Tanjung RU
- Arrive at the island, welcome drinks, free to explore the beach and facilities
- Water sports: kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkelling around the island
- Sand Island tour, a white sandbar that surfaces at low tide
- Mangrove tour, gliding through the mangrove forest by small boat
- Watch the sunset, then enjoy a beachside dinner and unwind at the Island Bar or Pirates Coffee
- Wake up for the sunrise, have breakfast, then check out by 12:00
Terms & Conditions
- Check-in 14:00, check-out 12:00. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
- Meeting point at Pelabuhan Tanjung RU, about 30 minutes from Tanjung Pandan. The boat ride to the island takes about 20 minutes.
- Bookings are confirmed once full payment is received. Rates are per villa per night and exclude taxes and service charge unless stated otherwise.
- Payments are non-refundable. Rescheduling may be considered subject to availability and resort management approval.
- Children aged 0-3 stay free (max 1 child per villa, sharing with parents). Ages 4-9 count as extra pax. Ages 9 and above are charged adult meal fees.
- Maximum villa occupancy must be followed. Additional guests must be declared and will incur extra charges.
- Smoking inside villas is prohibited (designated areas available). Pets and outside food or beverages are not allowed.
- All activities are undertaken at guests' own risk. Always follow staff instructions for safety.
- Activities and boat schedules may be adjusted for safety depending on weather conditions.
